We are raising money for Nancy J. Holterback who's awaiting a liver transplant at MUSC in Charleston, South Carolina. She is 67yrs old and was diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis, often abbreviated as PBC. This is an autoimmune disease of the liver marked by the slow progressive destruction of the small bile ducts (bile canaliculi) within the liver. When these ducts are damaged, bile builds up in the liver (cholestasis) and over time damages the tissue.

MOM UPDATE
ON MAY 27TH MOM TOOK A FALL AND BUSTED HER MOUTH AND BLACKED HER EYE AND HAD A BLEED ON HER BRAIN. SHE WAS SENT BACK TO MUSC AND YESTERDAY SHE CAME HOME AND TODAY SHE HAD A COOKOUT AT HER HOUSE. SHE STILL FEELS LIKE SHE CAN DO MORE THAN SHE REALLY CAN! MY MOM IS A VERY BAD PATIENT =) WE LOVE YOU MOM
